Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Takehiro Tomiyasu

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that Takehiro Tomiyasu is close to making his injury comeback.
The Japan international has yet to represent the Gunners during pre-season, having picked up a knock in training.
He has been working hard on his recovery, and Arteta has confirmed that he could return to full training next week.
The Gunners started with Ben White in the right-back role against Chelsea, and Arteta may persist with him more.
Arsenal start their Premier League season against Crystal Palace away on August 7, and Tomiyasu should be fit by then.
Arteta may still look to be cautious with the Japanese, considering his injury record in the second half of last season.
Arsenal have had a stellar pre-season campaign thus far with five straight wins. They beat Chelsea by a stunning 4-0 scoreline last night.
Gabriel Jesus was the pick of the players with another goal, and he looks well prepared for the curtain-raiser next month.
