Man Utd to swoop for Leroy Sane?

Manchester United are reportedly planning a surprise move for Bayern Munich forward Leroy Sane.

The Red Devils have been keen on landing Antony in recent weeks, but a deal seems improbable due to the £84m price tag.

Hence, the club are likely to pursue alternative targets, and The Mirror claims that an enquiry has been made for Sane.

The German is said to be considering his Bayern future following the arrival of Sadio Mane from Liverpool this summer.

He is no longer an assured starter for the German champions, and United are hoping to capitalise on his uncertainty.

He is valued at around £54m by Transfermarkt, and the Bundesliga giants could sanction his sale for a similar fee.

Sane was in-and-out of the starting line-up for Bayern last term, but he still contributed 14 goals and 15 assists for them.

He would be a fantastic signing for the Red Devils with his ability to make regular goal contributions from either wing.
