The Athletic today reports that French international Adrien Rabiot is on the top of Man Utd's transfer wish list, with the Juventus man looking likely to make a move to England before the end of the transfer window. Rabiot arrived at Juventus in 2019, playing 94 games and scoring 5 goals for the Serie A outfit.
Prior to moving to Italy, Rabiot had 9 successful years playing for Paris St Germain, with the capital outfit desperate to keep the midfielder before he ultimately ended up with Juventus. For side French international side, Rabiot has already clocked up 29 caps and scored 2 goals, but hopes to add to that haul with a place in the World Cup squad this November. The 6 foot 2 central midfielder is looking for a move to Manchester United to ensure visibility to the France national team's selectors.
Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag is looking to sign another defensive midfielder after the club's dismal 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, with the Old Trafford faithful booing their team off the pitch at the final whistle.
