Fabian Ruiz to move from Napoli to PSG
Paris St Germain are to seal a move for Fabian Ruiz this weekend, with the Spanish midfielder signing a long term contract with the Ligue 1 champions. Ruiz has been with Napoli since 2018, and failed to agree a new contract with the Serie A club.
Ruiz emerged through Real Betis' youth setup, going on to appear 56 times for the club, before making a transfer to Italy with Napoli for a reported 30 million euros. 125 games later, Ruiz has emerged as one of the club's best players and has since received international recognition for Spain.
PSG will pay a reported 35 million euros to sign the Spaniard, and the player will sign on a five year contract with the French giants. It is Ruiz's flexibility that makes him PSG's top target, being able to play in an attacking or defensive midfield position.
Napoli have also inquired as to the availability of goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who will depart PSG this summer. It is possible that the keeper will be involved in a swap deal with Ruiz.
