Fenerbahce and Wolves chasing Chelsea misfit Michy Batshuayi
28-year-old Belgium international forward Michy Batshuayi will finally leave Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer, after five separate loan spells away from Stamford Bridge failed to win the 6 foot 1 striker a permanent contract. Both Fenerbahce and Wolves will attempt to sign the forward for a nominal fee, believed to be in the region of £250,000.
Batshuayi arrived at Chelsea in 2016 from Marseille, but failed to live up to expectations in his first season and was shipped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, Valencia, Crystal Palace and Besiktas.
Turkish side Fenerbahce were apparently impressed with what they saw last year for the player's loan spell with Besiktas, after the forward bagged 14 goals in 33 games for the Istanbul giants.
Meanwhile Wolves are looking to add more new faces to their squad, particularly in the attacking department, having signed Goncalo Guedes last week in a mega money deal.
It is understood that Bruno Lage wants to sign at least two new players before the transfer window closes at the end of August, and Batshuayi could represent good value for money for the Molineux club.
