Casemiro ready to accept Man Utd proposal

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro is said to welcome a move to Manchester United before the transfer deadline.

The Red Devils have recently stepped up their interest in signing the Brazilian after failing to agree personal terms with Adrien Rabiot.

They plan to make an offer of around £61m for his services, and Marca claim that the 30-year-old would be open to joining them.

Casemiro is currently on wages of around £180,000-a-week, and United are prepared to double his salary if he decides to sign.

The Brazilian has been an undisputed starter for Madrid over the years, but he is not pleased with Madrid's recent decisions.

The arrival of Aurelien Tchouameni have led to suggestions that he could be phased out from the line-up in the coming years.

With Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga also vying for the defensive midfield role, Casemiro is open to an exit.

At United, he would be a guaranteed starter from the number six position.
