Matheus Nunes to join Wolves

23-year-old midfielder Matheus Nunes is set for a move to the Premier League, in a transfer deal worth a reported £40 million from Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese starlet, 23, has caught the eye in his domestic league and will become the club's record transfer fee once a move is completed.
The Rio de Janiero born player, who represents Portugal and already has 8 caps with 1 goal, is joining Wolves to add attacking presence to the club's squad. Nunes is known for his passing range and his ability to break the lines, and signing the player will be a huge coup for the Molineux outfit.
Wolves will pay the minimum fee release clause to secure the player's signature from Sporting Lisbon, and he arrives in the Premier League for his new club during a busy summer, where Wolves have already signed Goncalo Guedes for £27 million and Nathan Collins from Burnley for £20 million.
Bruno Lage's team have had a difficult start to the new year, losing to Leeds and then a poor 0-0 draw against Fulham last weekend.
