Bryan Gil heading to Valencia on loan
Tottenham midfielder Bryan Gil will return to his home country on loan with Valencia, after the Spurs youngster was informed by manager Antonio Conte that he was surplus to requirements for the 2022-23 season. 21-year-old Gil arrived at Spurs from Sevilla in 2021, but after 9 appearances during the 2021-22 season, failed to impress sufficiently and was farmed out on loan to Valencia last year.
In contrast to Spurs, Valencia appear to have been happy with the youngster's progress though, as they've agreed a loan transfer once again for the midfielder.
It is understood that this time around, the Valencian outfit have requested an option to complete a permanent transfer for around 8 million euros, and will pay the entirety of the player's salary for the duration of his loan spell.
According to reports from Spain, Valencia have beaten Premier League side Everton in the signing of Gil, after Frank Lampard made an enquiry to Spurs regarding the youngster's availability.
Tottenham have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window so far this summer, and now appear to be looking to let some players leave White Hart Lane.
