Juventus and Forest linked with Reguilon move
Sergio Reguilon is being monitored by both Juventus and Nottingham Forest, as the two clubs seek a permanent deal to sign the 25-year-old before the end of the transfer window. The Tottenham defender has been told by manager Antonio Conte that he is surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, and that the club want a fee of only 10 million euros for the former Real Madrid defender.
Reguilon's prospects of regular football at Tottenham have drastically deteriorated under Antonio Conte and the left-back is now likely to leave the club.
The defender had hoped to play on a regular basis to play once more for Spain's national side, for whom he already has six caps, and in a World Cup year Reguilon knows that he must play regularly for international recognition.
Nottingham Forest have been the Premier League's most active side, whilst Juventus have a very limited budget. Reguilon prefers a transfer to Italy over a Premier League stay, and Tottenham may be forced to sell the defender on the cheap to enable the player's departure before the transfer window closes on the 31st August.
