Chelsea handed big injury boost for Leicester clash
Chelsea have been handed a huge injury boost with Mateo Kovacic available to face Leicester City tomorrow.
The Croatia international has been nursing a knee injury from pre-season, and he has yet to make a competitive appearance this term.
He was on the bench for the 1-0 victory at Everton in early August, but has not made the matchday squad for the past two matches.
In today's press conference, manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed that Kovacic is available for selection which should be a huge boost.
Conor Gallagher lined up alongside Jorginho in the centre of the park against Leeds, but he was unable to make any kind of impact.
The return of Kovacic should provide the London giants with more control in midfield as they aim to end a two-match winless streak.
The Blues were unfortunate to play out a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, but were thoroughly beaten 3-0 by Leeds last weekend.
They will be aiming to return to winning ways at Stamford Bridge.
