Darren Bent delivers verdict on Bukayo Saka's Arsenal future
Sky Sports pundit Darren Bent believes Bukayo Saka could consider his Arsenal future if they don't qualify for next season's Champions League.
The England star was the Gunners' top performer last campaign with 19 goal contributions from 43 appearances. He was named their Player of the Year.
Saka has continued this term in good form with two assists from five outings, and Bent believes the Gunners must finish in the top four this campaign.
Saka current deal expires in less than two years, and Bent fears he may consider his options if Arsenal don't end up in the Champions League.
He told Sky Sports: "If Arsenal finish in the Champions League, I think he stays. If not, I think there are going to be some serious questions."
The 20-year-old recently said that he has a good bond with manager Mikel Arteta, but the club have yet to make progress over a new contract.
Hopefully, the hierarchy can act fast and secure the long-term future of Saka, who should be a key part of the club's success in the coming years.
