Chelsea handed double boost ahead of Dinamo Zagreb clash

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Aubameyang and Zakaria available for Zagreb game

Chelsea have been handed a double boost with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Denis Zakaria available to face Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow.

The Blues travel to Croatia for their Champions League group stage opener on Tuesday. Ahead of the game, they have been handed a selection boost.

Aubameyang is currently wearing a mask for a fractured jaw, but he has been deemed fit to make the travelling squad for the European outing.

Meanwhile, Zakaria has received his work permit following his deadline day loan move from Juventus. The Blues have an option to buy him.

Both players have been involved in just one training session thus far, and it won't be surprising if they feature on the bench against Zagreb.

Zakaria could make a cameo debut, but it remains to be seen whether Aubameyang is risked as he is still recovering from his fracture.

Chelsea are firm favourites for the encounter, and Thomas Tuchel will be expecting his team to pile the pressure on their opponents from the off.
