Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-3-3) vs Real Sociedad

Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Real Sociedad tonight

Manchester United entertain Real Sociedad in tonight's Europa League group stage opener at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been in peak form with four wins on the trot and will be favourites against the Spanish side.

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has been ever-present in goal in the Premier League and could be rested. Martin Dubravka looks set for his maiden appearance in the club's colours.

Diogo Dalot was at the press conference with Erik ten Hag yesterday. This is a big hint that he will start tonight at right-back. On the opposite end, Tyrell Malacia should feature again with Luke Shaw injured.

In central defence, we expect Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire to play ahead of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez. Ten Hag has already promised that he will rotate his defenders around.

Casemiro and Fred are very likely to start in central midfield. Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen were superb against Arsenal on Sunday, and could be given a breather before the Crystal Palace trip.

Further forward, Bruno Fernandes looks a nailed-on starter in the number 10 role with Donny van de Beek injured. Antony should continue on the right wing, having played only 58 minutes on his debut last weekend.

We fancy Anthony Elanga to come in for Jadon Sancho on the left wing as part of the rotation. Cristiano Ronaldo should lead the line against Sociedad. He has 15 goals in just nine previous meetings against them.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Malacia; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Elanga; Ronaldo.
