Origi to leave Liverpool in January?

Former Liverpool striker Divock Origi could leave AC Milan as early as the January transfer window, Calciomercato report.

The Belgium international joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer this summer following the expiry of his Liverpool deal.

However, he has since struggled to make an impression with just four substitute appearances, totalling just 81 minutes.

According to Calciomercato, Milan boss Stefano Pioli is willing to part ways with Origi when the transfer window reopens.

Origi is currently behind Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Charles De Ketelaere in the pecking order for a starting position.

Ante Rebic has also been preferred when fit, and Origi may choose to move on just months after joining the Serie A champions.

The Milan giants have earmarked Lille striker Jonathan David as a potential replacement for Origi at the beginning of the year.

The Rossoneri have made an impressive start to their title defence with 14 points from six games. They are goal difference behind Napoli and Atalanta.
