Chelsea handed Reece James injury boost
Chelsea have been handed a big boost with Reece James avoiding a serious knee injury, according to Standard Sport.
The England international suffered the setback in the midweek Champions League game against AC Milan and was subbed off.
It was initially concerning for the Blues, but luckily the defender has not suffered any ligament damage to sideline him for long.
According to the latest update, James has only picked up a minor injury and he could be available following the Aston Villa game.
Hence, James could feature against Brentford next week and the news will come as a huge boost for Chelsea and their fans.
James has been in scintillating form for the west London giants, registering two goals and two assists from 11 appearances.
He has made the right wing-back position his own over the past few years and Chelsea are a better outfit with him in the XI.
Chelsea are currently fourth in the league with 16 points on the board.
