Arsenal to spend on two signings in January

Arsenal could reportedly make two new signings in January as they look to compete for the Premier League title.

Top four remains the main priority for the Gunners, but the club should not give up on the title after a sublime start to the season.

For that, they need to add more quality and squad depth in January and The Sun report that Mikel Arteta will be backed with funds.

Owner Stan Kroenke is prepared to allocate around £50 million for the purchase of a defensive midfielder and a versatile winger.

Palmeiras' Danilo and Shakhtar Donetsk's Mykhaylo Mudryk are presently regarded as the priority targets for the Gunners head coach.
