Bayern Munich have no plans of pursuing Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo during the January transfer window.

The Portuguese star recently made derogatory comments about Erik ten Hag and the Glazers. He is expected to be released from his contract.

Bayern are one of the clubs that have been linked with him, but Bild report that they have no desire of securing his services on a free transfer.

The German champions parted ways with Robert Lewandowski over the summer and went on to sign Sadio Mane as a replacement.

The Senegal star has yet to find the consistency with his performances but the club's hierarchy are prepared to trust him for the campaign.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is a lucrative option with the added commercial value, but Bayern do not believe the player fits into their philosophy.

The Bundesliga holders are planning to build a young team for the future and are likely to focus on emerging talents in the coming years.
