Man Utd to sign new striker to replace Ronaldo?

Man Utd eyeing new striker

Manchester United are expected to begin their search for a new striker as they prepare for Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.

The Portuguese came up with an explosive interview last night where he said that he has no respect for manager Erik ten Hag.

United are yet to take any severe actions on him, but reports claim that his contract could be terminated in the coming days.

If that happens, the club will want a new striker in the squad as they can't rely on the fitness of Anthony Martial in particular.

Martial has been out with three separate injuries this term. Another setback could leave Marcus Rashford as the lone striker.

Hence, the club must replace Ronaldo when he leaves. Atletico Madrid's Matheus Cunha could be a possible winter target.

The Red Devils were interested in Cunha last summer, but he was not for sale. The situation has changed with Atletico's shock UCL exit.

The Madrid giants now need funds to balance their financial books and Cunha is one of those tipped to leave in January.
