Chelsea face Arsenal fight for Dutch star
Chelsea are set to face direct competition from Arsenal in the pursuit of Denzel Dumfries this winter.
The Blues are searching for another right wing-back in January and Dumfries is one of the players under consideration.
However, they are not alone in the pursuit of the Dutchman with Arsenal also prepared to make an offer of their own.
According to Calciomercatoweb, Inter Milan are willing to sell Dumfries in January if they receive a €40 million fee.
Chelsea are reluctant to pay more than €30m at the moment and this could hand a potential boost for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's side are willing to offer around €35m for the former PSV man as they aim to boost their title chances.
Arsenal currently have Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu as the regular right-backs. The former is the first-choice.
Dumfries is not a better defender than the duo, but he would offer plenty in an attacking point of view for the Gunners.
