Chelsea make January transfer decision on Ronaldo
Chelsea have no plans of revisiting their interest in signing former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils recently released the Portugal international from his contract and it has been reported that the Blues could pursue him.
However, The Telegraph claim that the London giants have no desire of doing so. Manager Graham Potter does not want his services.
Ronaldo created a bad dressing room atmosphere at Old Trafford. His disturbed relationship with Erik ten Hag was regularly mentioned.
The Blues don't want a similar unrest at the club and are prepared to stay away from signing the 37-year-old on a free transfer in January.
Ronaldo could still end up in the Premier League with another side in the New Year. There is speculation that Newcastle United want him now.
The Magpies have wealthy Saudi owners and they plan to lure Ronaldo to the club with a view to boosting their prospects of making the top four.
