Chelsea still interested in Ousmane Dembele
Chelsea are still interested in signing Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele, according to L'Equipe.
The Blues wanted to pursue the Frenchman on a free transfer last summer, but he ended up renewing with Barcelona with a pay-cut.
Dembele has since impressed for club and country without any injuries and the Blues are now tempted to sign him next summer.
The Frenchman will enter the final 18 months of his contract in January and Barcelona are already working on a fresh renewal.
If they are unsuccessful, they could end up losing his services as the player has a £50m release clause that becomes active next summer.
Dembele will make a decision on his future at the end of the season. If Barcelona don't meet his demands, he could decide to move on.
Chelsea have recently reached an agreement to sign Christopher Nkunku, but they are still on the search for another marquee forward.
Dembele would be an excellent purchase for them. The 25-year-old has bagged five goals and seven assists for Barcelona this term.
