Man Utd and Arsenal target opens door for Premier League move
Manchester United and Arsenal target Jonathan David has opened the door for a Premier League move.
The Canada international has had a fine season with Lille so far, registering nine goals and three assists from 15 games.
His progress has caught the eye of both United and Arsenal and David is now keen on playing in the English top-flight.
He told La Voic du Nord: "I don't know, I think it's possible, very possible.
"I don't know if I can find myself anywhere other than the Premier League. It could well be the Premier League. It's a very nice atmosphere."
United are currently on the hunt for a new striker after Cristiano Ronaldo's release. They have been tracking David.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also on the look out for a centre-forward with Gabriel Jesus sidelined for two months.
Both clubs are looking into the loan market at the moment and may not be tempted to pursue David next month.
Lille are ready to sanction the sale of David in the winter transfer window, provided they receive around €50m.
