Man Utd make Maguire and McTominay transfer decisions
Manchester United have no plans of parting ways with Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay during the January transfer window.
Maguire has struggled for regular playing time this season with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof ahead of him in the pecking order for the central defensive roles.
As a result, he has been urged to move on by Rio Ferdinand, but The Daily Mail report that the Red Devils have no plans of losing him midway through th ongoing campaign.
The club share the same stance on midfielder Scott McTominay, who is currently on the radar of Newcastle United. McTominay has played sparingly since the start of October for United.
Despite this, he remains a key figure under Erik ten Hag. His situation may not be reassessed until the end of the season with the manager reluctant to lose any first-teamers this month.
United have moved five points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham after their recent win over Bournemouth. They are now in a strong position to qualify for next season's Champions League.
