Chelsea handed double injury boost
Chelsea have been handed an injury boost today with Ben Chilwell and Reece James back in training after respective injuries.
Chilwell picked up a serious hamstring injury before the World Cup but he is now close to making his comeback for the Blues.
Meanwhile, James suffered a recurrence of his knee injury last month. He has now made a swift return to the training pitch.
Both players were involved in full training today, but it seems unlikely that they will be available against Liverpool this weekend.
Graham Potter will want the duo to work on their fitness first and they could feature against Fulham at home in early February.
Chelsea have had a dreadful season in the top-flight and they are currently languishing 10th in the table with only 28 points.
The margin to the Champions League places is already 10 points and the gap could extend further if they don't beat Liverpool.
It could be a difficult challenge for them as well as the Reds, who are only above them in the standings on goal difference.
