Arsenal moving closer to signing Spanish right-back?
Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of landing Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda.
The Gunners are currently looking to part ways with Cedric Soares, who is the third-choice right-back in the squad.
Fulham are in negotiations to land his services and it appears the club want to replace him with the talented Fresneda.
The teenager has made just nine La Liga appearances thus far, but he has already impressed clubs with his displays.
Aside from the Gunners, Newcastle United have also been linked but the 18-year-old seems likely to join the former.
According to Pucela News, the Spaniard has been in contact with manager Mikel Arteta and has been convinced to join the club.
Valladolid will receive around €20 million up front for the teenager, who could be allowed to stay on loan for the season.
Fresneda has also been on the radar of Real Madrid in recent weeks, but he has his sights on a Premier League transfer.
