Arsenal waiting for summer to sign Chelsea target?

Arsenal are confident about their chances of signing Chelsea target Declan Rice in the summer, according to Evening Standard.
The north London giants have been busy in the current transfer window and they have already signed Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior.
Their spending spree is set to continue with Real Valladolid's Ivan Fresneda. He is expected to join them from the Spanish side next week.
It is now reported that the Gunners have an interest in West Ham's Rice, but a transfer is likely to be delayed until the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta's side are open to the possibility of landing the England star this month, but it is unlikely that the Hammers will sell him.
Chelsea are also firm admirers of the 24-year-old, but it is reported that the midfielder is excited by the prospect of joining the Gunners.
Champions League football could be key to luring him and at the moment, Chelsea are lagging behind after falling to 10th in the league.
They can also qualify for the elite European club competition by winning it, but that seems a difficult task at the current point of time.
