Kristiansen moves to Foxes

Leicester City have signed 20-year-old left-back Victor Kristiansen from FC Copenhagen, in a deal that smashed the Danish Superliga transfer record. The Danish starlet, who has yet to appear for his country, is expected to compete for a place in the Foxes' first-team squad.

Ricardo Pereira, James Justin, and Ryan Bertrand are all out through injury at Leicester City, and thus Brendan Rodgers has moved to sign yet another left sided defender.

The player will not be available for today's game against Brighton and Hove Albion, but is expected to take part in next week's game against Walsall in the FA Cup.

After sealing the move, Kristiansen told his new club's official site:

“It feels amazing. It’s really exciting to be here and I’m so excited to meet everyone at the Club, as well as the fans.

“The Premier League is probably the best league in the world, and Leicester is a top team, so of course, I was excited. It was a no-brainer for me to say yes to this great opportunity.”
