Everton pushing to land Chelsea winger?
Everton are reportedly keen on landing Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech once they sanction the sale of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle United.
The Toffees are currently in advanced talks with the Magpies and it is claimed that Gordon could join the Tyneside outfit for around £40 million.
Once that happens, the Merseysiders will need a replacement in their squad and Sky Sports claim that Ziyech is one of the top names on their radar.
The Morocco international has started regularly on the right wing for Chelsea after the World Cup but he is likely to be displaced by Noni Madueke soon.
The Toffees are ready to pay around £25 million to land his services and it remains to be seen whether the proposal is accepted to the Blues.
In case they agree on the fee, Everton would still need to convince Ziyech, who could be reluctant to join a relegation-threatened outfit.
Ziyech was on the radar of Italian champions AC Milan last summer. He could wait for better proposals before heading for the Blues exit door.
