Arsenal handed huge injury boost for Everton game
Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Everton next weekend.
The Gunners bowed out of the FA Cup last night following a 1-0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
During that game, Thomas Partey was subbed before the hour mark with a rib injury but it does not appear serious.
According to The Sun, the midfielder only suffered a minor knock and he should be fit for the Merseyside trip.
The news should be a huge boost for the Gunners, who are currently short in midfield after Mohamed Elneny's injury.
The Egyptian is set to miss the rest of the ongoing campaign and Arsenal are said to be eyeing a high-profile addition.
They are hot on the trail of Brighton & Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo, though he won't come on the cheap for them.
The Gunners will need to pay a club-record fee of around £80 million to sign the 21-year-old before the transfer deadline.
