Arsenal and Chelsea quoted price to sign Declan Rice
Arsenal and Chelsea will need to pay around £90 million to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer.
The England international has spent his entire career with the Hammers but he is expected to move on at the end of the season.
The Hammers were previously eyeing £150 million for his services, but they are no longer in a position to command the same.
Rice will effectively enter the final two years of his deal this summer and it is the Hammers' last chance to receive a premium fee.
With Arsenal and Chelsea interested, Fabrizio Romano claims that David Moyes' side could hold out for around £90 million.
Rice has remained quiet regarding his future but he admitted during the World Cup that he wants to play Champions League football.
As things stand, Arsenal seem in pole position to sign him if Rice makes the competition as his main priority during the summer.
Chelsea may not even qualify for European football next season. They are currently lying 10th in the Premier League standings.
On the contrary, Arsenal are top of the league table.
