Erik ten Hag makes Marcel Sabitzer transfer decision
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has opened the door to keeping Marcel Sabitzer on a permanent basis.
The Austrian was a surprise signing for the Red Devils on deadline day following the injury setback for Christian Eriksen.
The 28-year-old only joined on loan from Bayern, but ESPN report that Ten Hag is open to keeping him for the long-term.
Sabitzer has played just over 90 minutes since his loan switch and he has plenty of time ahead of him to prove his worth.
With Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek out with long-term injuries, he will have a lot of playing time in the coming months.
If he can help the club finish in the top four, it could boost his chances of securing a permanent transfer in the summer.
Aside from Sabitzer, Ten Hag has handed the same incentive to Wout Weghorst, who joined on loan from Burnley.
The Dutchman is said to be keen on staying with the Red Devils.
