Newcastle United to swoop for Manchester United captain?

Newcastle United are lining up an approach for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire at the end of the season.

The England international has been a fringe player for the Red Devils over the course of the current campaign.

He is likely to consider his options in the summer and 90min cite that the Magpies will look to lure him.

United bought the centre-back from Leicester City for £80m in 2019, but they will have to cut their losses.

It has been reported that the club could demand around £40m for Maguire, who only turned 30 this month.

Aside from the Magpies, Inter Milan and West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in him.

The former tried to sign him on a short-term loan in the January transfer window and could make a permanent move this summer.
