Folarin Balogun breaks silence on his Arsenal future
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has said that the Gunners will make the final decision over his future this summer.
The club graduate joined Reims on a season-long loan last summer and he has been terrific for them with 18 goals.
His progress has caught the eye of AC Milan and Inter Milan but the Gunners are yet to decide over the next step.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Balogun said: "There's discussions that need to take place and it's not a decision that will only be with me. The club will let me know their point of view and I'm sure we'll come to an agreement."
Arsenal currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their main strikers. Balogun may not accept a fringe role.
Mikel Arteta may have to sell Nketiah in order to keep Balogun, but that is far from likely, given the former's recent impact.
Nketiah has been impressive for the Gunners in key situations and Arteta could be reluctant to lose his services this summer.
Hence, Balogun could be loaned out for another campaign while the Gunners could also open the door for a permanent exit.
