Arsenal aiming to land Barcelona graduate?

Arsenal are reportedly looking at signing Barcelona winger Ilias Akhomach on a free transfer during the summer.

The 18-year-old made his debut for the Catalan giants last season but he has returned to the reserves this campaign.

Xavi has been reluctant to play him and Sport report that the teenager is now prepared to move on from the club.

Akhomach's deal expires at the end of June and the Gunners are reportedly attentive over his current situation.

Leeds United have made the first move to sign the teenager, but the Gunners are quietly optimistic of winning the race.

Aside from Mikel Arteta's side, Sevilla and AC Milan are also looking at the possibility of signing the young Spaniard.

Regardless of who signs Akhomach this summer, Barcelona will be due compensation for his training in their academy.

Akhomach is a right winger by trade. The youngster could be loaned out to the Championship if he were to join the Gunners.
