PSG aiming to beat Chelsea and Man Utd to striker deal?

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly aiming to beat Chelsea and Manchester United to the signing of Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian star has been in stellar form for Napoli this season with 25 goals and five assists from just 29 appearances.

His form has grabbed the attention of elite clubs and Foot Mercato claim that Les Parisiens are leading the queue for him.

Chelsea and United are obviously looking to bring him to the Premier League but Les Parisiens are also in concrete talks.

Their sporting director Luis Campos has spoken with Osimhen's agent and are prepared to guarantee a regular starting spot.

Lionel Messi has no plans of penning a new contract with Les Parisiens and his exit could pave the way for Osimhen's arrival.

Osimhen could play alongside Kylian Mbappe up front next campaign.

Napoli are unlikely to lose him on the cheap this summer and they are expected to demand at least €150m for his services.

PSG could easily afford the sum if Messi is no longer on their wage bill. The Argentine's contract expires at the end of June.
