Liverpool and Man Utd line up move for Bayern midfielder

Liverpool and United in for Gravenberch?

Liverpool and Manchester United could compete for the signature of Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch this summer.

The 20-year-old joined the Bavarian giants from Ajax for £19 million last summer but he has since struggled for regular minutes.

The Dutchman has played just over 700 minutes for his club and Foot Mercato report that he could push for a new challenge again.

Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the youngster for a while and the hierarchy could soon enter talks with Bayern for him.

However, they may need to be wary of United due to the presence of manager Erik ten Hag, who has a good relationship with Gravenberch.

Gravenberch was handed his first-team debut at Ajax by the Dutch tactician and a reunion could be on the cards in the next transfer window.

Bayern are yet to make any decision over the youngster's future but could be tempted to sell him for a reasonable profit during the summer.
