Arsenal ready to sell Folarin Balogun for £27m?
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Folarin Balogun for around £27 million this summer, according to L'Equipe.
The Gunners graduate joined Reims on loan at the beginning of the season and he has been tremendous thus far.
He has bagged 19 goals and three assists and reports claim that he has no plans of staying with Arsenal next term.
It is now reported that the Gunners are willing to sell the youngster, provided they receive a fee of around £27m.
The Gunners currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as the regular strikers for the ongoing campaign.
Balogun is unlikely to displace either of them next season and it makes sense for the club to sanction his exit.
However, the Gunners may opt to include a buy-back clause which has become a general practice among clubs.
Balogun definitely has plenty of potential in him and Arsenal may look to retain his services in the long run if required.
