Chelsea to swoop for Sadio Mane?

Chelsea are reportedly considering a surprise move for former Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane this summer.

The Senegal international joined Bayern Munich from the Reds last summer and had a positive start with 11 goals from 22 outings.

However, he picked up an injury prior to the World Cup and since his return, he has amassed just one goal from 11 appearances.

It is now reported by Football Insider that the Blues would like to bring him back to the Premier League in the next transfer window.

The west London giants have spent £600 million over the past year but they are still looking to add more quality to their attack.

The club value the rich Premier League experience of Mane and could look to persuade Bayern into a potential sale this summer.

The Bavarian giants are not entirely pleased with Mane's displays so far but there is no indication that they could sanction his sale.

Mane has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain lately.
