Arsenal planning swoop for Serie A wonderkid
Arsenal are reportedly planning a swoop for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund during the summer transfer window.
The Dane has netted only nine goals in his debut season at Atalanta but has impressed with his overall attributes.
Hojlund is strong in the air and also possesses excellent pace on the counter attack. He has a good physique as well.
The left footed striker has already earned comparisons with Erling Haaland and it appears Arsenal want to land him.
The Gunners currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah to lead their attack but both lack the aerial presence.
Hojlund would provide a different dimension to the attack and could make the Gunners a more potent attacking force.
The big stumbling block for Arsenal could be the fee. Atalanta are reluctant to lose Hojlund for less than €60m this summer.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Real Madrid are also contenders to land the highly-rated striker based in Bergamo in Italy.
