Mac Allister to sign for Liverpool

Brighton and Hove Albion will be preparing for life after Argentina World Cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, after the Anfield giants Liverpool submitted a transfer bid of £75 million to sign the player. Mac Allister helped Brighton to European football for the first time in their history.

An emotional message was left on Instagram by the midfielder to Brighton fans: "It was an honour to represent Brighton & Hove Albion FC in a World Cup but to become the first-ever World Cup winner for this club it will be unforgettable (hopefully you will have more), as it will be your welcome after it. 3 years and a half ago, we were fighting for relegation and today, after so much sacrifice, suffering and work, this group will be in the history of this club for becoming the first time this club will play Europe League."

Alexis Mac Allister played a pivotal role in Brighton & Hove Albion's successful campaign this season, finding the back of the net 12 times in 40 appearances across various competitions. His impressive contributions played a significant part in the club's historic achievement of securing European football for the first time in their existence, culminating in a remarkable sixth-place finish in the highly competitive Premier League.

Throughout the season, Mac Allister showcased his skill and talent, consistently making an impact on the pitch for the Seagulls. His ability to score crucial goals not only boosted his personal statistics but also proved instrumental in propelling Brighton & Hove Albion to new heights. This remarkable feat will be etched in the club's history, highlighting Mac Allister's valuable contributions as a key player in their remarkable journey towards European qualification.

Liverpool will make Mac Allister their primary transfer signing this summer, and will announce a deal in early July.
