Man Utd preparing to sell defender to London club?
Manchester United are preparing to sell Harry Maguire to West Ham United this summer, according to ESPN.
The England international has struggled for regular playing time this term. He made just eight starts during the Premier League season.
It is now reported that the Red Devils are preparing to part ways with Maguire and they anticipate an approach from the Hammers.
David Moyes' side tried to sign Maguire in the January transfer window and they are likely to make a fresh proposal to land his services.
The east London outfit could be willing to meet the £30 million price tag but United may need to compensate Maguire's wages first.
Maguire currently earns around £190,000-a-week. The Hammers are reluctant to offer more than 50 per cent of his present wages.
With two more years remaining on his contract, United could reportedly offer him a huge pay-off of around £10m to leave the club.
Aside from Maguire, Alex Telles, Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams are among defenders that are also expected to be sold this summer.
