Mount agrees personal terms with Man Utd

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a transfer.

The England international has made close to 200 appearances for the Blues but he is expected to leave them soon.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2024 and the hierarchy have failed to convince him over a fresh renewal.

The Telegraph now claim that he has agreed terms over a long-term deal with United ahead of his proposed transfer.

Chelsea currently value their graduate at around £85 million which is significantly high than what United could offer (£55m).

However, it is anticipated that the clubs will negotiate a fee in the middle for the transfer of the 24-year-old midfielder.

Mount has vastly played in the number 10 spot for Chelsea but he may need to adapt to the number eight position at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes is an undisputed starter from the attacking midfield role and Mount may take up Christian Eriksen's spot.
