Serie A giants want Chelsea youngster on loan with buy clause
AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan with an option to buy.
The youngster joined the Blues from Aston Villa for £20m last summer, but he was used sparingly during his debut season.
Milan are now keen on landing him on a season-long loan deal and they have also proposed to buy him at the end of the stint.
Mauricio Pochettino is expected to take charge as the new manager soon and he is likely to make a decision over the player's future.
The Argentine has urged the club to pursue two elite midfielders this summer and the hierarchy may want to recoup some transfer funds.
A number of midfielders including Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have already been linked with summer exits.
It remains to be seen whether the ex-Villa graduate will be allowed to head for the exit door. He is currently one of the youngest in the squad.
