Arsenal favourites to sign England star as Bayern end interest
Arsenal are favourites to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice with Bayern Munich ending their interest.
The England international has been touted to join the Gunners for the past few months, and an official offer is expected this week.
Bayern have also been credited with an interest in the player, but BILD claim that they are unlikely to make a formal approach.
Thomas Tuchel recently spoke with the player's father, but it appears Rice is determined to prolong his Premier League stay.
Hence, Bayern have no chance to sign him. BILD report that the club have decided to look elsewhere for a new midfielder.
Rice is currently with the England squad in preparation for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and Ukraine this month.
Arsenal are currently planning a formal bid of £100m for him, but a deal may not be completed until he returns from England duty.
The Gunners will be hoping that the midfielder returns unscathed from the forthcoming games, considering his heavy workload this term.
