Wilfried Zaha to sign for Galatasaray
Wilfried Zaha to sign for Galatasaray
Out of contract forward Wilfried Zaha has turned down a new deal at Crystal Palace, and now looks set for a mega money transfer move to Turkey, as Galatasaray seemingly agree terms with the Ivory Coast international. It is understood that Zaha will earn a massive £220,000 a week in Istanbul, and will be guaranteed a five year contract.
Galatasaray are set to break the bank to sign Zaha, and will pay the coveted forward a £2.5 million bonus to make the move to the Bosphorus.
Zaha had also been monitored by Arsenal earlier in the summer, but the new contract for Reiss Nelson effectively ended any potential move for the former Manchester United man.
Instead, Zaha will be the star man of the Turkish top flight for the season ahead. Zaha scored 67 goals in 275 Premier League games for Palace over an eight year spell, and before that a further 10 goals in 112 games in a first spell at the Eagles.
Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Lig title last season, and the signing of Zaha is sure to improve their chances of retaining the championship for another year.
