Arsenal in talks to sign another central defender?
Arsenal are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Dinamo Zagreb centre-back Josip Sutalo this summer.
The Croatian defender has been linked with the Gunners for a number of months, and Corriere dello Sport report that they are now lining up an approach for his signature.
Fiorentina have already tabled an offer of €15m for the 23-year-old, but reports claim that Zagreb are now eyeing close to €25m after getting to know about the Gunners' interest.
Arsenal currently don't need another centre-back in the squad, but the plans could change with talk about Rob Holding and Auston Trusty heading for the exit door in the next few days.
Trusty is on the radar of Sheffield United, who have been just promoted. Holding is also attracting Premier League interest, and could leave before the current transfer window closes.
Sutalo would be a fine acquisition for the Gunners. He is only 23 and has the attributes that would suit manager Mikel Arteta. He is a strong ball-playing defender with an aerial presence.
