Liel Abada set for Premier League move?
Liel Abada has emerged as a target for several Premier League teams, as Sheff Utd, West Ham, Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion and Bournemouth all weigh up a bid for the 21-year-old winger. Abada caught the eye in Scotland since his move from Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2021, as the forward has contributed 20 goals in 71 games in the Scottish top flight. Abada also has ten caps for his country Israel, scoring one goal so far.
Of the five teams linked with a move for Abada, Everton are understood to be in pole position to sign the 5 foot 6 winger, closely followed by Sheffield United. Everton manager Sean Dyche has been linked with a transfer for Patson Daka this week, but also wants to add attacking impetus to his midfield before the season kicks off.
Brighton and Hove Albion are less likely to sign Abada, as they move closer to a deal for Mohammed Kudus, but there appears to be an issue over personal terms and thus a deal for Abada could be an alternative.
Of the remaining teams, West Ham are locked in talks with Man Utd for a deal to sign Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay and Abada appears to be a lower priority. Bournemouth also have funds to spend and are interested.
