Man Utd make final decision on Marc Cucurella
Manchester United have pulled out of negotiations to sign Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella on loan, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils entered talks to sign the Spaniard earlier this week, and they managed to agree terms with the former Brighton man.
However, they have now opted against a deal after Cucurella made an appearance for the Blues in the Carabao Cup last night.
United prefer a short-term signing until January and this is reportedly a prime reason behind the breakdown in talks with the Blues.
Cucurella can only play for two clubs in a single season, according to FIFA rules, and he won't be allowed to join another team this winter.
As a result, United are now in advanced negotiations to land Sergio Reguilon from Spurs and he is undergoing his medical tests.
The Spaniard has not appeared for Spurs in the current season and can therefore choose to join another club in January after leaving United.
