Mauricio Pochettino provides big injury update on Nkunku
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has provided a big injury update on Christopher Nkunku ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford.
Nkunku signed for the Blues from Leipzig in the summer, but he has yet to make his debut for the club after picking up a serious knee injury in pre-season.
Speaking in today's press conference, Pochettino revealed that the former Leipzig man is on the verge of returning to training. He is working hard to be involved.
The Argentine did not provide a timescale for his comeback but he could return ahead of schedule. The manager views him as a really important player in the squad.
Chelsea entertain Brentford at Stamford Bridge in tomorrow's early kick-off. They should be favourites to pick up a win on the back of impressive results.
The club have won two of their last three league games and were unlucky not to beat Arsenal last week. They dominated the derby before conceding late.
