Brentford & Aston Villa vying to sign former Chelsea star

Brentford and Aston Villa could go head-to-head to sign AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham at the end of the campaign.
Abraham suffered a serious knee injury in the final game of last season and he may not return to first-team action until April next year.
Despite this, he is attracting plenty of transfer interest and reports claim that he would be interested in returning to the Premier League.
Abraham joined the Giallorossi under Jose Mourinho, but the Portuguese could walk out of the club when his contract expires next summer.
As a result, the striker has opened the door for a new challenge and both Brentford and Villa would be keen on landing his signature.
The Bees are currently braced for the departure of Ivan Toney, who is on the radar of London giants Chelsea and Arsenal.
They have earmarked Abraham as his replacement. Villa see him as a possible successor to Ollie Watkins in their line-up.
Watkins penned a long-term deal earlier this season, but there continue to remain doubts over his future amid high-profile interest.
